A TCA Peel is a medium depth peel and is suitable for more mature, drier skin and shows very good improvement on fine lines and wrinkles.

The peel remove dead skin cells and promote the production of healthier looking glowing skin. This TCA peel give more dramatic and faster results than some of your more gentle peels.

This peel is used in combination with a skin care range which will be discussed at your consultation.

How does a TCA Peel work?

After the skin is cleansed the peel solution is applied to the area and once the first layer has dried a second layer is applied. After this stage a post peel mask is applied to the skin and massaged in to the skin.

How many TCA Peel treatments will I need?

The TCA peel treatment normally comes in a course of 4 treatment. A patient will normally have one treatment per week.

Will the TCA Peel treatment hurt?

The patient will experience a burning sensation when the peel solution is applied to the skin. This pain is however very minimal and no anaesthetic is needed for this treatment. Some minimal discomfort may be felt following the procedure. Patients will experience some redness, the skin will feel tight and skin will start to flake normally 3 days post treatment.

How long will the effect last for?

The effects of a TCA peel is long lasting. We would always recommend a skin range to be used in conjunction with the course of peels.

How much will a TCA Peel cost?

TCA peels are normally sold as a package of 4 including products to prep the skin and to use during the course of treatments.

How long do treatments take?

A typical TCA peel takes around 30 minutes
